James Byron Dean (1931 – 1955) was an American actor, a cultural icon, symbol of the disenchantment and social alienation of the adolescents of the time, perfectly represented by his most acclaimed film, “Burnt Youth” (1955), in which he personifies the role of the troubled teenager Jim Stark. This edition features a red precious resin body and hood, a reference to the red leather jacket worn by Dean in the film, while the motif is inspired by his jeans. The clip depicts a gun, a tribute to the famous scene from the 1956 film “The Giant”. The cap ring is engraved with one of James Dean’s most famous phrases: “Dream as if you’ll live forever. Live as if you’ll die today. ”The cone is engraved with the coordinates of the James Dean memorial.
